 Current GraSPP Winter Intern at APO, Sarah Strugnell (MPP/IP) encourages students wanting to learn about some of the activities of the Asian Productivity Organization to watch this Productivity Talk on Tuesday 23, June from 1400 JST. Sarah will make a brief appearance at the end of Tuesday’s Productivity Talk to ask Kit Chan a few questions about the impact of COVID-19 on small-scale farmers.

SMEs and small farmers are the hardest hit by the economic impact of COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns. This APO Productivity Talk examines the pain points of small farmers and how they can survive the pandemic and emerge stronger. Kit Chan, Managing Director of K-Farm Sdn Bhd of Malaysia, shares his business experience with small farmers and programs of the Malaysia Productivity Corporation to deal with this crisis.
