Call for Participants – CAMPUS Asia Joint Course: International Public Policy in East Asia
GraSPP CAMPUS Asia is now accepting applications from GraSPP students to join “CAMPUS Asia Joint Course: International Public Policy in East Asia”(course No. 5135030, 4 credits). The course consists of lectures, student group discussions, and field trips. The students from Asian countries are highly recommended.
In addition to the guest lectures from UTokyo, SNU, and PKU, this course has discussions and group works with the front-line Japanese policymakers in the central and local governments. The students will be grouped and challenge the actual problems that Japanese society faces. Each group is required to create the policy recommendations with Japanese policymakers and give the presentation.
This course also plans to have a field trip. The current plan is to visit Kyoto and Kameoka-city with Japanese policymakers. The basic expenses such as transportation from/to Tokyo Station and accommodations will be fully covered. However, the field trip will be canceled or postponed unless the coronavirus situation gets resolved. More details will be announced at the orientation or classes.
