東京大学公共政策大学院 | GraSPP / Graduate School of Public Policy | The university of Tokyo

S2 Intensive「Case Study (International Field Workshop) 」(5140730-1)(5179004-1) June 7, 2021

The International Field Workshop (IFW) will be virtual this time due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The overarching theme is “Sustainable, resilient and inclusive societies beyond the COVID-19 pandemic.”

The number of students allowed to register for this course will be limited up to about 10 due to the nature of the course involving a series of intensive discussion with the counterparts. If more than 10 students are willing to register, a pre-registration screening will be conducted before the S2 course registration correction period (June 18-22). If the registration period with your school is different from GraSPP’s, please seek permission from your school office for registering for this course outside your school’s registration period.

The field workshop is tentatively scheduled to take place from August 9 to 27, 2021 with a series of virtual meetings with counterparts in China, Philippines and Thailand. Our tentative target organizations will include: Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in China; Mae Fah Luang Foundation under Royal Patronage and Thailand Development Research Institute (TDRI) in Thailand; and Asian Development Bank (ADB).

To help students better understand the objective and procedure, an information session will take place on Friday, June 11 (12:20-13:00) via Zoom. URL to the Zoom meeting will be given on ITC-LMS.

Please do not count credits for this course to satisfy your completion requirements if you plan to graduate in September 2021.
