Staff from the World Bank Tokyo Office will give you guidance on the application for the World Bank Internship Program (Summer 2025). The application period for the Summer 2025 Program will reopen in January 2025. Please register by Monday, December 2, for a guidance opportunity on the date to be announced shortly after December 2.
Another chance to learn about job and internship opportunities at the World Bank Group will be during the Guest Speaker Seminar on “World Bank Group’s Strategy for Accelerating Gender Equality to End Poverty on a Livable Planet” by Ms. Hana Brixi, Global Director for Gender, on Thursday, November 28 from 15:30 to 16:30 at Lecture Hall B . We encourage you to join the Seminar to talk in person with senior staff from the World Bank Group and the World Bank Tokyo Office.

“The Bank Internship Program (BIP) offers highly motivated individuals an opportunity to be exposed to the mission and work of the World Bank. The internship allows individuals to bring new perspectives, innovative ideas and research experience into the Bank’s work, while improving skills in a diverse environment. In addition, it is a great way to enhance CVs with practical work experience. Internships are available in both development operations and other business units (such as Human Resources, Communications, Accounting, etc.) however, availability during a given internship term is based on business needs.”
