The Asian Development Bank (ADB) welcomes motivated, open-minded, and self-directed individuals to apply for the Internship Program. ADB offers an experiential and project-oriented learning opportunities for graduate students. The assignments vary broadly and depend on the business needs every year.  It would interest you to know that we are preparing for the 2020 Internship Program – Second Batch (Application period: 01 December to 31 January 2020, On-boarding: June 2020 onwards)  The internship program offers the students an opportunity to:  • Work in a major international development organization;  • Work collaboratively with experienced professionals from over 50 different countries;  • Gain a deeper understanding of development finance and the impact of the work ADB does  • Contribute to ADB’s business through research outputs.  Internship candidates must: • be enrolled in a Master’s- or PhD-level program at a school in one of the ADB member nations, both prior to and after the internship assignment; • be engaged in academic study in a field directly related to ADB’s work; • be a national of one of ADB’s members; • possess an excellent command of English; and • have professional experience relevant to the assignment. ADB pays all interns a limited amount of stipend. Interns are responsible for other expenses including own living accommodations. Study Abroad: Call for Application “USTC (University of Sciences and Technology of China) International Summer Camp 2020” USTC (University of Sciences and Technology of China) International Summer Camp 2020 application guideline has been announced on the Go Global website. Those who wish to apply for this program should read the guideline carefully and submit necessary documents directly to the International Exchange Group through UTAS. The application deadline is NOON on Friday, 9th March. Notes: Before application, please consult the GraSPP Graduate School Office during the program term to be fully aware of potential academic affairs you need to know. Temporary measures during the National Center Test for University Admissions (Hongo area) The National Center Test for University Admissions will be carried out on Saturday, 18 and Sunday, 19 January, 2020 and the following temporary measures for access to the Hongo area will be taken during that time. Entry to the areas where the test is conducted is strictly prohibited; only students, faculty members, and staff who have special permission may enter the areas. Faculty and administrative staff must show their ID card for entering the university. Students who need to enter the university for research activities must show their ID card for entering the university. Those who are not affiliated with the university must show a temporary ID card for entering the university. Entry to and exit from the university only through the Main/Akamon/Yayoi/Pharmaceutical/Second Refectory/Nou-Seimon Gates are permitted. In principle, entering the university by car is prohibited. * Due to the foreign language listening tests, driving a car on campus except in an emergency is prohibited during the following time: Saturday, 18 January, 17:05 – 18:15 In the areas where the test is conducted, please keep quiet to avoid disturbing the test.
