On June 5, 2018, Prof. Hideaki Shiroyama participated in Session 4 “Digital innovations in public finance management” at Tokyo Fiscal Forum 2018. Prof. Shiroyama gave a presentation on “The development of digital government and public service reform in Japan”. The annual Forum jointly hosted by the Ministry of Finance of Japan’s Policy Research Institute (PRI), IMF’s Fiscal Affairs Department and Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI) focuses this year on “Strengthened fiscal management in Asia”. Prof. Toshiro Nishizawa also participated as Moderator in Session 3 “Strengthening private sector involvement in infrastructure and mitigating fiscal risks for public-private partnership (PPP)” on June 4.
