Temporary measures during the National Center Test for University Admissions (Hongo area) The National Center Test for University Admissions will be carried out on Saturday, 19 and Sunday, 20 January, 2019 and the following temporary measures for access to the Hongo area will be taken during that time. Entry to the areas where the test is conducted is strictly prohibited; only students, faculty members, and staff who have special permission may enter the areas. Faculty and administrative staff must show their ID card for entering the university. Students who need to enter the university for research activities must show their ID card for entering the university. Those who are not affiliated with the university must show a temporary ID card for entering the university. Entry to and exit from the university only through the Main/Akamon/Yayoi/Pharmaceutical/Second Refectory/Nou-Seimon Gates are permitted. In principle, entering the university by car is prohibited. * Due to the foreign language listening tests, driving a car on campus except in an emergency is prohibited during the following time: Saturday, 19 January, 17:05 – 18:15 In the areas where the test is conducted, please keep quiet to avoid disturbing the test. -

If you would like to rent or purchase a gown, please see the following web pages and order it through the CO-OP website. * As the University of Tokyo CO-OP has only limited numbers of gowns in stock, they are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. * When you make a payment at the University of Tokyo CO-OP, you need to present a certificate of expected graduation which is available at the certificate dispensers in campus. -

Vietnam–Japan Policy Research Forum Co-hosted by GraSPP and CIEM
On November 15, 2018 in Hanoi, GraSPP hosted Vietnam–Japan Policy Research Forum titled “Deepening Bilateral Cooperation after 10 Years of Vietnam-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement” with Central Institute for Economic Management (CIEM) under the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI). Toshiba International Foundation (TIFO) provided CIEM with grant funding. GraSPP has been co-hosting conferences with CIEM every year since 2015. The Forum had three sessions (“Current state and issues of Japan-Vietnam trade relations since 2008”; “Vietnam-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement from political economy perspectives”; and “Efforts to foster Japan-Vietnam investment cooperation since 2008”) followed by a panel discussion “Supporting initiatives and measures to deepen Japan-Vietnam trade and investment relations”.
