アジアのがん患者向け医療と政策についての講義「医学共通講義XXI」の案内がありました。

医学系研究科以外の学生を歓迎とのことです。ご興味ある方はご検討ください（添付もご参照ください）。

＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝ 社会や疾病構造が変容する中、アジアにおけるがんの社会的影響は大きくなってきています。がんは遺伝的素因や生活習慣だけでなく、人々の社会経済的状況などの文化的背景が大きな影響を及ぼします。アジアではこれまで正確ながんに関する統計をとることが難しく実情が不明でしたが、その統計や実態が明らかになるにつれて、がん医療の実情とがん対策に関する課題がアジア圏内でも大きく格差があることがわかってきました。また近年のゲノム科学の進展によっても、アジアのがんは知見の進む欧米型のがんとは生物学的にも異なる側面があることが明らかになってきており、予防や治療の面でも異なるアプローチが必要とされることがわかってきました。このような背景のもとで、さまざまなIT技術や制度を用いて日本がアジアのがん対策に貢献する動きも活発になってきています。 この講義シリーズでは日本を含めたアジアのがんのサイエンスや社会科学に関する第一線の講師の考えに接しながら、UHC(Universal Health Coverage)の考えに基づいて、アジアのなかで誰も取り残されないがん社会のために日本や各自がどう向き合うべきなのかを学んでもらう機会としたいと考えています。 　（医学系研究科以外の学生を歓迎します） ＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝

How to Apply (Posted on October 29, 2024)

Account registration will be available through the Web Application System from Tuesday, October 29 at 10:00 a.m. (JST), prior to the application period.

STEP1

・Download the Application Guidelines and Forms from the link above and read through them carefully. ・Prepare the necessary application documents. ・Read through FAQ before proceeding to STEP2.

STEP2 Register and create an account through the Web Application System before starting application. Account registration will be available from 10:00 a.m., October 29th, 2024 (JST). STEP3 Enter all the application information and upload necessary documents through the Web Application System. A request for a letter of reference will be sent to the referee through the Web Application System. Please note that applicants cannot submit or complete applications until the referee has uploaded or submitted the letter of reference through the Web Application System after receiving the request e-mail. STEP4 Submit and complete the application through the Web Application System during the application period. We do not accept late submission outside the application period. STEP5 Application number will be notified via e-mail after the application submission is completed.

・For those who graduated from universities within mainland China (excluding Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan), submission of the following degree verification documents is also required during the enrollment procedure. As it may take time from the application to the issuance, please prepare well in advance. <Degree Verification Documents> Obtain a PDF file of the English version of the 'Online Verification Report of Higher Education Degree Certificate' issued by China Higher Education Student Information Network (CHSI), which is managed by Center for Student Services and Development (CSSD), and ensure it can be submitted during the enrollment procedure. The capacity of these courses offer at S1S2 term, AY2025 are 60 students. If the enrollment limit is exceeded, participants will be decided by lottery. The priority shall conform to the following order.

GraSPP students who take as required course. Other GraSPP students Other Graduate School students

 The lottery will be held among students who registered the course via UTAS by Friday, April 18th. Please note that the students who does not register by this deadline cannot take this course.  When you cannot register the course by the deadline as you are a student of other graduate school student, please ask your graduate school office to register the course instead of you. The results of the lottery will be posted at GraSPP Student Bulletin board on Wednesday, April 23. When the lottery is not held, it will be also announced. Registration information on UTAS for those who are not chosen as a participant, will be withdrawn by GraSPP Office.

The following information is for those who wish to apply for this fellowship.

Eligibility ： Enrolled in doctoral course as of April 1st, 2026 * Include those who are expected to enroll in doctoral course as of April 1st, 2026 Application Procedure ： Application must be submitted via JSPS’s electronic application system. * You can only apply via system after you obtain an ID and password for the system. However, you can prepare beforehand by getting application materials from JSPS website. We recommend you to get prepared ahead of time especially for application form regarding your research and achievements. For details, please refer to website and materials below.
