Deadlines/Event Dates December 15, 2019
GraSPP CAMPUS Asia is now accepting applications from graduate students enrolled at GraSPP for a field trip in Fukushima to take place January 9 and 10, 2020. Application deadline is December 15, 2019.
The 2-day field trip will take students to Aizuwakamatsu city. Participants conduct site visits to Accenture Innovation Center Fukushima to learn about the city’s Smart City projects and meet with the city mayor and the key business player of the projects. There will also be opportunities to learn the history of modernization of Japan and efforts of reginal revitalization through the eyes of Aizuwakamatsu with the opportunities to exchange views with CAMPUS Asia students and faculty.
Eligibility
- Applicant must be a student currently enrolled at GraSPP.
- Applicant must have enough English skills to communicate and discuss during the trip and be able to take part in all field trip activities.
- Applicant is expected to have a basic understanding of CAMPUS Asia Program.
- Applicant must have strong interest in revitalization of Fukushima and Smart City projects.

Important notes
Application results will be announced to each applicant via email by December 20 after screening based on the motivation and the balance of gender and nationality.
