COVID-19 has highlighted the critical need for gender-disaggregated data, from the health challenges of the virus itself to the economic effects that are magnified for women due to their existing inequalities. Through a panel discussion on Day 1 and a workshop on Day 2, the conference will provide an insight into the multiple gender dimensions of COVID-19 and provide delegates with the practical skills to incorporate gender-aware perspectives into their studies and policy work.
