GraSPP co-hosted a career seminar with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on November 19, 2018 for recent and prospective graduates in economics or related fields, who seek job opportunities and career prospects at the IMF. Not only interested students but also experienced economists and professionals in their mid-career were also invited to join the seminar. Information was provided by Ms. Jodi Scarlata, Advisor and Deputy Senior Personnel Manager, IMF’s Monetary and Capital Markets Department, for those who were interested in the work at the IMF and willing to apply for the Economist Program (EP) and the mid-career hire for professionals experienced with economic policy issues. Prof. Kenichi Ueda from GraSPP shared his experience in the IMF, where he worked for 14 years before joining the faculty, and encouraged seminar participants to follow his path going forward.
The presentation will provide an overview about job opportunities and career prospects at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for talented graduates in economics and related fields. Interested undergraduates are also welcome.
