Call for Applications
This year marks the fourth time for Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore to conduct a study trip to Japan. As the host in Tokyo, the Graduate School of Public Policy of the University of Tokyo will be holding “LKY-GraSPP Day”, a student conference to discuss the contemporary public policy issues in Japan. The event will be held on February 28.
This year, we will be focusing on 3 topics as follows,
- Earthquake disaster reconstruction
- Abenomics, Japan’s newest set of economic policies
- International relationship of Japan
We would like you to join this great opportunity to exchange views on Japanese public policies and to interact with future policy makers from Asia!

The Special Feature of LKY GraSPP Day 2014
This year, the participants of LKY GraSPP Day can join the following events;
* Registration is closed.
- Tokyo Trip
We will visit ministries and government officials from February 25 to 28. Places to visit (Tentative): Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan, Tokyo Metropolitan Government, etc.
* Only those who can attend the whole schedule can apply. - Wrap-up Session & Closing Party
Wrap-up Session and party will start February 28 19:00.
Staffs from ministries and the private sector will be joining.
We might ask you to pay around 2000-3000yen.
* Those who can not participate event1 can also apply.
Note:
Those who will not attend LKY-GraSPP Day are not permitted to join both events.
If you wish to join the events, please register through the registration form.
The seat availability for the events is limited. We may select the attendants by lottery.
