Dean Keisuke Iida welcomed His Excellency Ovidiu Dranga, Ambassador of Romania, on November 18 at GraSPP. Ambassador Dranga and Dean Iida discussed future partnership opportunities with Romania based on ideas proposed by the prestigious University of Bucharest. They shared the view that promoting the exchange of scholars and students between the top universities would contribute to the bilateral ties between Romania and Japan. Dean Iida expressed his hope of having students from Romania to further the diversity of our student body at GraSPP in terms of nationality. To give the academic partnership a solid and pragmatic foundation, they agreed to join efforts to disseminate information on both sides and to identify a topic of shared interest.
The enhanced visibility of the exchange of students and scholars could broaden the scope of future collaboration was a consensus reached during the conversation. Dean Iida appreciated the embassy’s support in finding ways to contribute to the bilateral ties between Romania and Japan.
