On April 18, 2023, Professor Chiyuki Aoi joined the online Europe-China Table for European policymakers hosted by Clingendael Institute.
In this roundtable, policymakers and researchers discussed how Europe can better tell its story, reflecting its positive contribution to peace and security, international order and sustainable development, facing diverging narratives from China. The ReConnect China project aims to upgrade independent knowledge of contemporary China in Europe and strengthen connections between researchers, policymakers, and other societal sectors.
