At the end of March 2024, I will complete my two-year term of office.
Since I was unfamiliar with many things at the beginning of my term, I may have caused trouble for many people and I apologize for any inconvenience I may have caused. I have to count my blessings for having been able to serve through the end of my term of office. Although we were limited in what we could do due to tight budgetary constraints, we were able to hold various events with prominent figures from abroad, and if I was able to raise the profile of the Graduate School of Public Policy (GraSPP) even to a certain degree by doing so, it was by way of repaying my debt to GraSPP for its support.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank not only the faculty and staff within the department, but also the officers and staff at the university headquarters, as well as the faculty and staff of the Graduate Schools for Law and Politis, the Graduate School of Economics, and the Institute for Future Initiatives.
