The 141st STIG PoP Seminar “Long-term Risks and Future Generations” January 10, 2024

Science, Technology, and Innovation Governance (STIG) Program organizes Policy Platform (PoP) Seminars to build a platform among industry, government and academia.

This time Prof. Alberto Alemanno from HEC Paris (https://albertoalemanno.com/) will talk about how to deal with long-term risks the future generations will encounter.

This issue can be seen in all aspects, such as global warming and aging societies. While social awareness of the need to respond to such risks is increasing, there is still insufficient discussion on how to design policies that do not postpone these risks.
This seminar will include the topics of a special issue of the European Journal of Risk Regulation on addressing long-term risks for future generations.

Date & Time: 16:00-17:30 Thursday 11 January 2024
Venue: Lecture Hall B, 4F, International Academic Research Bldg.
