This guest speaker seminar is organized in conjunction with Case Study (Public-Private Partnerships), which aims to discuss Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) as a framework for infrastructure development and public services provision. Mr. Munetaka Horiguchi from Chiyoda Corporation is going to share his experience in dealing with infrastructure and energy projects in emerging countries.

About the guest speaker: Mr. Munetaka Horiguchi has been in the field of project finance since 2001 with independent power producer (IPP) projects in Vietnam and a petrochemical project in China. Mr. Horiguchi joined Chiyoda Corporation in 2017 after assuming several senior positions at Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), including Deputy Director General in Project Finance Department and Executive Officer for Asia and Oceania. He has teaching experience at Kyoto University’s Graduate School of Management and Ristumeikan University. Mr. Horiguchi holds a BA in Law (1985) and a LLM (1996) from Waseda University. He studied at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (1987-88).
