HPTA International Symposium
-Covid-19 Pandemic and Role of Health Technology Assessment-
The Covid-19 pandemic has prevailed all over the world since January 2020. Many countries confront the difficulty in stopping the coronavirus spreading with the dilemma between containing the epidemic and minimizing the damage in economy. Learning the cases from Europe, Taiwan and Japan, which are presented by the international experts on health policy/economics and health technology assessment (HTA), this symposium provides an opportunity to discuss how the wisdom in health economics and HTA can play considerable roles to cope with the pandemic.
