Our Challenges and Opportunities on Global Trade —Supply Chain Resilience and Sustainability May 22, 2023

Public Policy Seminar

Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Director General of the World Trade Organization (WTO) will be visiting UTokyo to give a short lecture to UTokyo students. In the first half of the event, Dr. Okonjo-Iweala will give a short lecture titled as “Our Challenges and Opportunities on Global Trade — Supply Chain Resilience and Sustainability.” In the second half of the event, a panel discussion with Director General Okonjo-Iweala, President Teruo FUJII, Executive Vice President Naoko ISHII (moderator), and Keisuke IIDA, Dean of the Graduate School of Public Policy will be held. Following the panel discussion, we plan to allow 30 minutes for an interactive Q&A session with students, so we strongly encourage students interested in supply chain, sustainability, and global careers to attend this event.
