Gemma Aquino Bala
Philippines, Class of 2015Senior Economic Development Specialist, National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA)

I earned a Master of Public Policy degree with the scholarship from ADB-JSP in 2015. After my study, I returned to my home country and resumed work as part of the team that monitors and evaluates national development projects and provides policy guidance in the conduct of monitoring and evaluation. My stay in GraSPP allowed me to improve my skills on policy analysis and evaluation. With the inclusion of practical case studies and electives in its curriculum, I believe that MPP/IP can aid students in mastering economic tools and political theories necessary in effective policy development.
