The BESETO＋NUS consortium has been selected as a CAMPUS Asia Plus program in Mode 3, 2021-2025November 2, 2021
The governments in China, Japan and South Korea (CJK) have announced the selected programs for the ”CAMPUS Asia Plus” where the universities in ASEAN countries will join the consortiums in the CJK countries. The BESETO+NUS* consortium comprising School of International Studies, Peking University (PKU), Graduate School of International Studies, Seoul National University (SNU) , Graduate School of Public Policy, The University of Tokyo (UTokyo) and Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore (NUS) will start the new phase of CAMPUS Asia Program, “BESETO＋NUS Platform for the Double Degree, Exchange and Online Learning Programs on International and Public Policy Studies in Asia,” as CAMPUS Asia Plus Program.
*BESETO stands for Beijing(BE), Seoul(SE) and Tokyo(TO).
The consortium tries to develop an educational collaboration of the highest level and quality in Asia in the fields of international and public policy studies. Activities will include joint teaching in the CAMPUS Asia Joint Course and summer schools. Students will broaden their horizons by being exposed to the multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural study abroad experience, which will create vital networks for future Asian leaders, and gives them added values in labour markets. This Program aims to nurture future global leaders with international experiences and knowledge of more than two languages, and to enhance interdisciplinary understanding of Asian issues among the participating countries.
